My ex-boss was also a jerk who would come in late and take extra days vacation. Yet he was always looking at everyone else’s time. It’s not fair that you’re getting stuck with all his work. I would say to let it go, but ask him to provide you with help when he’s gone.

I would not follow up with anyone on this … it’s not that critically important to the actual operation of the business. Let a higher up discover the problems when they call and try to locate your boss. Stay out of this one.

In this case, I’d be careful. Anytime you squeal, there may be repercussions. Is there a way you could point out the infraction without seeming like you’re just trying to get rid of him so you can have his job? Maybe his superior isn’t aware of all the time off - could you have a private meeting with the superior on another matter and casually mention the excessive vacation days?

Stop being a bitch, either your going to take it in the ass from your boss, or you’re going to give it to his wife, and cause her to divorce him.

I would go all the way up the chain of command, go to the highest ranking manager and complain to them in detail and have proof of the activity to prove your side. The rest is up to the person you told.
